Pay period
In Pay period field enter the Start date of pay period. In Period field select the option ( Weekly, Biweekly, Semimonthly, Monthly or 4 weekly) that you want to use.
Select Enable Overtime Level 2 check box, if you want to configure Overtime Level 2.
After selecting the check box,in the Multipliers group box enter the coefficient to multiply the regular working hours by for each OT level.
Weekly/Biweekly
Select Use Weekly/Biweekly Overtime check box, if you want to enable the calculation of weekly/biweekly overtime.
If you selected Semimonthly option from Period field, the Week Start Date field and Number of days in Semimonthly period field will be enabled. In Week Start Date field choose the day of week, when the weekly/biweekly overtime hours should start being accured. After selecting the week day, choose either Weekly, or Biweekly options that you want to use. In Number of days in Semimonthly period field enter the number of days for pay period.
In OT Level Period Limit field enter the number of hours after which the worked hours will be accrued at the OT level mentioned next to each field. While entering the values keep in mind that the value of each OT level should be greater than or equal to that of the previous OT level.
Daily
Select Use Daily Overtime check box, if you want to enable the calculation of daily overtime. In OT1 and OT2 fields enter the regular working hour for each day, after which the hours will be considered as overtime hours.
Consecutive days
Select Consecutive Days Overtime check box, if you want to enable the calculation of consecutive days overtime. In Minimum Hours field, enter the number of consecutive days after which consecutive days overtime will start to be calculated. In Daily field, enter the minimum number of hours the employee has to work daily during consecutive days to be eligible for consecutive overtime. In Total field, enter the minimum total number of hours the employee has to work during consecutive days to be eligible for consecutive overtime. In OT Level, select the overtime rate to which the hours should start to be accrued after the minimum number of days and hours worked consecutively.
Here you can also generate report on program's general settings. For that you should just click on the Report button.
